TECHTON BUILDING SERVICES

Techton Building Services was established in 2008.

Our private certifiers are experts in assessing work for both Construction Certificates and Complying Development Certificates. We can act as the Principal Certifier to undertake the Critical Stage Inspections and issue necessary certificates including the Occupation Certificate.

Techton Building Services are able to assist in the development process by overseeing the construction of developments to ensure that the works are undertaken in accordance with the relevant legislation and standards applicable at the time of construction. We have expert knowledge of the building industry’s relevant state legislations and building code requirements.

With over 40 years of combined experience in the construction industry in both the residential and commercial sectors, we can provide clients with a commitment that their projects will be assessed by professionals with a thorough understanding of industry requirements.

Techton Building Services are members of Australian Institute of Building Surveyors (AIBS) and Association of Accredited Certifiers (AAC).

Neil Stone – Director

Born and bred in Ballina, Neil started his career as a Builder in the Northern Rivers and after 25 years decided to retire the tool belt and undertake study to become a Building Surveyor.  After 9 years at Council, Neil joined Techton Building Services in 2015 to work in private certification, and in September 2021 Neil purchased the business.

Neil has a wealth of practical experience in the building industry and has built a reputation for his exceptional attention to detail and personable approach.

Neil’s experience spans residential, retail, and commercial construction in both the private and public sectors.
